The first-ever Frankfort Heritage Week ceremony, in conjunction with the annual awards ceremony of the Franklin County Trust for Historic Preservation. John Carlton, president of the Trust and organizer of Frankfort Heritage Week is the emcee. Guest speakers include City of Frankfort Mayor Layne Wilkerson, Franklin County Fiscal Court Judge-Executive Huston Wells, and Kentucky Historical Society Executive Director Scott Alvey. Trust co-founder Martha Moore gave the awards while Kentucky Trust for Historic Preservation president Eric Whisman presented them.
